These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://roofline-solutions.ca/ and, where applicable, your purchase or use of roofing and related services provided by Roofline Solutions & Waterproofing, operating as Roofline Solutions (“Roofline Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Website, submitting an inquiry or quote request, or engaging Roofline Solutions for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or our services.

- Roof maintenance;
- Roof restorations;
- Commercial and industrial roof waterproofing;

The specific services, materials, scope of work, pricing, schedule, warranties, exclusions, and other project terms will be established in the applicable written quotation, estimate, proposal, work order, contract, or other agreement provided to the customer (“Service Agreement”).
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement will govern with respect to the specific project.
2. Website Use
You may use the Website only for lawful purposes.
You agree not to:
- Use the Website in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Website or its systems;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Website;
- Introduce malicious code, viruses, or other harmful material;
- Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Website content without our prior written permission;
- Misrepresent your identity or relationship with another person or organization; or
- Use information obtained from the Website for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. Quotes, Estimates and Proposals
Requests submitted through the Website, by telephone, email, or other communication channels do not automatically create a contract or obligation for Roofline Solutions to perform services.
Any quotation or estimate provided by Roofline Solutions is subject to the terms stated in that quotation or estimate.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:
- A quote is based on the information reasonably available to Roofline Solutions at the time it is prepared;
- Pricing may change if site conditions, project requirements, material costs, scope, or other relevant circumstances differ from the assumptions on which the quote was based;
- Additional work may require customer approval and may result in additional charges; and
- A project is not considered accepted until the applicable Service Agreement or other written authorization has been accepted by both parties.
4. Site Conditions and Additional Work
Roofing work can involve conditions that are not reasonably visible or discoverable before work begins.
Examples may include concealed moisture, deteriorated decking, structural deficiencies, hidden leaks, damaged insulation, inadequate drainage, existing membrane deterioration, hazardous materials, or conditions caused by previous construction or repairs.
If previously unknown conditions materially affect the scope, safety, cost, or feasibility of the work, Roofline Solutions may recommend additional work or changes to the proposed scope.
Where reasonably practicable, we will communicate material changes to the customer before proceeding with additional chargeable work.
Emergency circumstances may require immediate temporary or protective measures to prevent further property damage.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
- Provide Roofline Solutions with accurate and complete information relevant to the project;
- Provide reasonable access to the property and work areas;
- Obtain and maintain any permissions, consents, landlord approvals, or other authorizations that are the customer’s responsibility;
- Identify known hazards, hazardous materials, structural concerns, or other site conditions;
- Remove or protect property that could reasonably be affected by the work where requested;
- Provide access to necessary utilities and facilities where required;
- Ensure that Roofline Solutions can safely access the work area; and
- Make payments in accordance with the applicable Service Agreement.
Delays or additional costs resulting from the customer’s failure to meet these responsibilities may affect project schedules and pricing.
6. Project Scheduling and Delays
Roofline Solutions will make reasonable efforts to perform services according to the schedule communicated to the customer.
However, roofing projects may be affected by weather, site conditions, material availability, labour availability, emergencies, regulatory requirements, equipment issues, concealed conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Unless expressly guaranteed in a written Service Agreement, project dates and completion estimates are not guaranteed deadlines.
Roofline Solutions will not be responsible for reasonable delays caused by circumstances beyond its control.
7. Weather and Safety
Roofing work is dependent on suitable weather and safe working conditions.
Roofline Solutions may postpone, suspend, or modify work where weather, site conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances make continued work unsafe or inappropriate.
The safety of workers, customers, occupants, and property is a priority, and reasonable safety procedures may require temporary restrictions on access to portions of a property during a project.
8. Materials and Subcontractors
Roofline Solutions may use manufacturers, suppliers, tradespeople, subcontractors, or other service providers as reasonably required to complete a project.
Where appropriate, products and materials may be substituted with comparable products if the originally specified product is unavailable or if a reasonable substitution is necessary for the project, subject to the applicable Service Agreement.
Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, are separate from any workmanship warranty provided by Roofline Solutions.
9. Warranties
Any workmanship or product warranty offered by Roofline Solutions will be governed by the specific written warranty provided for the applicable project.
The Website may describe warranties or expected service life for certain roofing systems; however, such descriptions are general information and do not replace the terms of a written project-specific warranty.
Warranty coverage may be subject to conditions, exclusions, maintenance requirements, proper use, weather conditions, substrate conditions, alterations, third-party work, and other limitations specified in the applicable warranty.
No warranty should be interpreted as guaranteeing that a roof will remain completely free of leaks or defects under all circumstances unless expressly stated in writing.
10. Existing Roof Systems
Where Roofline Solutions performs repairs, restoration, or waterproofing over an existing roof system, the condition and suitability of the existing substrate may affect the performance and longevity of the completed work.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Roofline Solutions does not assume responsibility for defects, deterioration, structural deficiencies, moisture, or other problems existing beneath or outside the scope of the work performed.
11. Payments
Customers are responsible for paying all amounts specified in the applicable Service Agreement, quotation, invoice, or other written agreement.
Payment terms, deposits, progress payments, retainers, taxes, interest, late charges, and other payment conditions will be governed by the applicable project agreement.
If payment is overdue, Roofline Solutions may, where permitted by law and the applicable agreement, suspend further work and pursue available remedies.
12. Cancellation and Termination
Cancellation of a project or service may be subject to the terms of the applicable Service Agreement.
Where a customer cancels work after materials have been ordered, labour has been scheduled, work has commenced, or other costs have been incurred, the customer may be responsible for applicable costs or cancellation charges to the extent permitted by the applicable agreement and law.
Roofline Solutions may suspend or terminate services where there is a material breach of the applicable agreement, unsafe working conditions, non-payment, denial of reasonable site access, or other circumstances that materially prevent performance.
13. Emergency Services
Roofline Solutions may provide emergency roofing assistance.
Emergency services are intended to mitigate or address urgent roofing problems and may involve temporary measures, inspections, repairs, or other work depending on the circumstances.
Emergency service does not necessarily mean that a permanent repair or complete restoration can be performed immediately.
The customer acknowledges that continued water intrusion, structural damage, weather conditions, or other circumstances may exist before or after emergency work is performed.
14. Website Information
The information provided on the Website is for general informational purposes only.
Descriptions of roofing systems, expected service life, benefits, energy savings, waterproofing performance, repair methods, and similar information are general in nature and may not apply to every building or roofing system.
Actual recommendations and project outcomes depend on factors including the existing roof condition, substrate, building design, drainage, weather, materials, installation conditions, maintenance, and other site-specific circumstances.
A website description does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, engineering opinion, or professional assessment of a particular property.
15. No Professional Advice
Information on the Website should not be considered a substitute for a professional inspection or project-specific assessment.
Customers should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary, including structural, engineering, environmental, legal, insurance, or other professional advice.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and its contents, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, branding, designs, layout, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Roofline Solutions and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and use Website content for your personal or internal business purposes.

17. Customer Communications and Submissions
If you submit information through the Website, including a quote request, contact form, project description, photograph, document, or other material, you represent that you have the right to provide that information.
You authorize Roofline Solutions to use submitted information as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, evaluate your project, provide requested services, communicate with you, and administer our business.
Do not submit confidential information through a general website form unless specifically requested.
18. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, maps, review services, social media, or other external resources.
Roofline Solutions does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, security, or terms of third-party websites or services.
Your use of third-party websites is governed by the applicable third party’s terms and policies.
19. Disclaimer of Website Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update any portion of the Website at any time without prior notice.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roofline Solutions and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Website.
For roofing services, any limitation of liability will be subject to the applicable Service Agreement, warranty, and mandatory provisions of applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roofline Solutions and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Website;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Information you knowingly provide that is false or misleading; or
- Your violation of the rights of another person or organization.
This section does not apply to the extent that a claim results from Roofline Solutions’ own negligence, misconduct, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
22. Privacy
Your use of the Website may involve the collection and use of personal information.
Our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information should be described in our Privacy Policy, which should be made available on the Website.

23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or services provided by Roofline Solutions will be subject to the courts of Ontario having appropriate jurisdiction.
24. Changes to These Terms
Roofline Solutions may update these Terms from time to time.
When changes are made, the updated “Last Updated” date will be posted at the beginning of these Terms.
Your continued use of the Website after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to an existing roofing project or Service Agreement will not be effective solely because these Website Terms have been updated; project-specific contractual changes must be addressed through the applicable agreement.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, where permitted by law.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
